The Cleveland Cavaliers played their season opener at the Q last night......Well I for one was not surprised at the easy win over the New Orleans Hornets.....and Lebron James was at his finest......4 three pointers back to back in a two minute span.....this team is really coming together and I hope it is going to give Cleveland sports fans something to cheer about.....with the Browns not doing well at all in the NFL and the Cleveland Indians choking at the last moment and missing the playoffs......The Cavs are the only hope...... This article below from the Akron Beacon Journal is a great example that along with great players (rookies and veterans)and a good coach it is also very important to have someone in management who understands the game very well....Dan Ferry, the general manager of the Cavs has done a great job resigning Zydrunas Ilgauskas at center and also signed great free agents in Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones (for their outside the arc shooting) and Larry Hughes..... Chasing `Z' proves to be right moveGO CAVS......all for one and one for all | | Tuesday, October 25th, 2005 | | 12:17 pm |

Puneri is 4 years old...loves playing with mud....when he returns home every evening with soiled clothes he is told by the mother and father that he should not do this again...money spent to play in mud.....nothing... Fast forward 20 years and change.... Puneritakes spends 3 hours every Wednesday playing with mud......when he returns home with soiled clothes, he is told by the mother and father that he should cultivate such good hobbies...money spent in the process.....$110 every 3 months... Damn I should have joined pottery class when I was 4...... | | Tuesday, October 11th, 2005 | | 4:19 pm |

Friday I received my Denison Icelink and the ashtray dock from tunertricks.com to seamlessly integrate the IPOD into the gaadi.....bought it used from a forum member so got it quite cheap......the install was quite easy and I had my manager at work help me out.....managed to try it out on Saturday......the setup rocks......clarity is great...prior to this I had used the cassette adaptor to hook the IPOD to the factory stereo and there was too much static and i had to keep treble at a minimum.....but this setup is absolutely worth it.....so if there is anyone who is looking for a good setup to integrate the IPOD to the factory head unit......ICELINK is the way to go.....pricey...but well worth it..... Attended a Greek wedding over the weekend......at the reception when the Bride and the Bride's father were on the dance floor....some of the guests started smashing plates....for a moment i thought it was some former lover out there showing his displeasure at the match, but then I found out that the plates are smashed on the floor for good luck and money is thrown around at the musicians (as per Tradition)....my guess is that all that money went to the DJ.....hmmmmm quite like apna Indian weddings where the money is waved over/around the head of the bridal party ka junta, presumably to ward of the evil eye and then given to the musicians playing in the baarat....... In other news.....interesting read... THE BASIC LAWS OF HUMAN STUPIDITY | | Thursday, September 29th, 2005 | | 12:04 pm |
Came across this awesome site today...... ROCK PAPER SCISSORS....with a twist.... The weekend was spent in Madison, Wisconsin....went there with Panter.......more on that later..... | | Wednesday, September 21st, 2005 | | 3:42 pm |
Joined Netflix a couple of weeks back.....so have been watching a lot of movies lately......Gardent State, Before Sunrise, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the list continues.....ohhh and if you like silly comedies..... Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is a must watch....Will Ferrel is absofuckinlutely hilarious Finally managed to watch Sideways last night..overall a nice movie..and I agree with Panter ka adivisor ka theory...that every man is a linear combination of Miles and Jack......and its awesome to see the way Miles appreciates his wine...the way he takes in the aroma and then just rolls the wine in his mouth when he takes the first sip....i tend to do that with the pale ales and IPA's....look for the hoppines and any additional flavors or aromas........watching Miles and Jack go on a tour of wine country makes me wanna go and tour a few microbreweries around here In other news I went and saw the Michigan-Notre Dame game in the BIG HOUSE a couple of weeks ago.....was Panter, the Vahini and me.....good fun.....conclusion reached.....want to enjoy a good football (american) game in the Stadium....go watch a college football game....the atmosphere is much more charged and fans seem more passionate......save for probably the Dawg Pound in the Cleveland Browns Stadium...:)......GO BROWNS The previous post has a link to the preview of the Philadelphia R32 GTG that i attended......the full video is up.....I'll probably post a link to the torrent tracker later this evening.......if anyone is interested..... | | Monday, August 29th, 2005 | | 11:12 am |

The best-bud asked me if I wanted to go to Madison, Wisconsin for a NCAA football game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines....... Apan to obviously haan bolega.......so now i am all set to go to Madison in September.....520 miles one way...no hotel reservations for Saturday night...plans to sleep in the gaadi in a nice covered parkin lot....... Whom do I end up supporting.....hmmm....tough call....I am with Panter who is a Michigan fan and hence will be sitting with the Michigan junta.........so cannot support Wisconsin....but then at the same time I cannot support Michigan 'cause Michigan and Ohio State University at kattar dushman.....so I shall stay neutral .....and secretly wish Wisconsin wins......... Go Badgers........Michigan sucks...*wink* | | Friday, July 1st, 2005 | | 12:33 am |

If you are a QT fan then I am pretty sure that you have seen True Romance...not directed by him though....it was this script that he sold to fund Reservoir Dogs.... There is the scene between Dennis Hopper (Clifford Worley) and Christopher Walken (Vincenzo Coccotti i.e. Don Vicenzo)......just after Cliffod Worley has accepted his fate and asks for a Chesterfield ...which I think is one of the best scenes ever (personal opinion.....don't flame me).....and just as he starts smokin that Chesterfield.....the background score begins....and what follows is this (quite typical of QT scripts)... Clifford Worley: You're Sicilian, huh? Coccotti: Yeah, Sicilian. Clifford Worley: Ya know, I read a lot. Especially about things... about history. I find that shit fascinating. Here's a fact I don't know whether you know or not. Sicilians were spawned by niggers. Coccotti: Come again? Clifford Worley: It's a fact. Yeah. You see, uh, Sicilians have, uh, black blood pumpin' through their hearts. Hey, no, if eh, if eh, if you don't believe me, uh, you can look it up. Hundreds and hundreds of years ago, uh, you see, uh, the Moors conquered Sicily. And the Moors are niggers. Coccotti: Yes... Clifford Worley: So you see, way back then, uh, Sicilians were like, uh, wops from Northern Italy. Ah, they all had blonde hair and blue eyes, but, uh, well, then the Moors moved in there, and uh, well, they changed the whole country. They did so much fuckin' with Sicilian women, huh? That they changed the whole bloodline forever. That's why blonde hair and blue eyes became black hair and dark skin. You know, it's absolutely amazing to me to think that to this day, hundreds of years later, that, uh, that Sicilians still carry that nigger gene. Now this... [Coccotti busts out laughing] Clifford Worley: No, I'm, no, I'm quoting... history. It's written. It's a fact, it's written. Coccotti: [Laughing] I love this guy. Clifford Worley: Your ancestors are niggers. Uh-huh. [Starts laughing, too] Clifford Worley: Hey. Yeah. And, and your great-great-great-great grandmother fucked a nigger, ho, ho, yeah, and she had a half-nigger kid... now, if that's a fact, tell me, am I lying? 'Cause you, you're part eggplant. [All laugh]See the movie and you will know.... | | Wednesday, May 25th, 2005 | | 8:54 am |

The coffee is not making much of a difference as of now.......3 more days to go and then .....long weekend...jhakasssssssss |
